Constructive tools are tools that can be used for manipulating information, constructing one's own knowledge or visualizing one's understanding. examples of constructive tools are word processors, spreadsheets, simulation, and multimedia authoring.
By using constructive tools, it enables users to produce a certain tangible product for a given instructional purpose. for instance, desktop publishing programs allow users to organize and present their ideas in an attractive format.
We can use constructive tools in our lessons to check spelling mistakes and grammar mistakes because word processor application has all those facilities like spell-checkers,grammar-checkers. not only that we can also use spreadsheets for the manipulation of numerical information while teaching mathematics
