Camtasia Studio is a software used for creating a video tutorial. This software provides lots of opportunity such as recording video, inserting images, sounds, etc for teachers to make the lesson effective.

How to insert images

1. Click on the 'Import media'.
2. Browse the image from the destination source.
3. Select the particular image that you want to insert.
4. Click on open button. (the image will appear in the clipboard)
5. Drag the image to 'show timeline'.
   

How to insert a video clip

1. Click on 'Import media' under 'Add' menu.
2. Browse the video clip from the destination source.
3. Select the particular video clip that you want to insert.
4. Click on open button.
5. Drag the video clip to show timeline.

How to insert audio

1. Choose or select import media.
2. Browse the audio clip/sound from the destination source.
3. Select the particular audio that you want to insert.
4. Click on open button.
5. Drag the audio clip to show timeline.
6. Make adjustment of audio to the image using drag arrow.  

How to insert text

1. Click on Title clips.
2. Type title name (depend on what video you are creating).
3. In the text area, you can type the detail of the video to be created (example; states of matter, properties, etc)
4. Change the background color, text color & fonts.
5. Then click the “OK” button. 
6. Drag a text to show timeline or storyboard 

We can also add the transition to make the video flow smooth. 

How to insert transition

1. In the edit menu, choose or select transitions option.
2. Then select any transition effects to the images or video.
3. Drag the transition effect to a small square box (for Camtasia Studio 6)
4. Drag the transition effect in between the images or videos, where you want the transition. (Camtasia Studio 8)

How to record PowerPoint slides

1. Click on record the screen in Camtasia.
2. Open the PowerPoint and keep on 'slide show' mode to record the screen.
3. Then click on Camtasia Recorder.
4. Narrate if you want to along with the slide show.
5. Click on the stop button to save the file.
6. Click on save and edit button.
7. Save as video file .avi files.

How to Publish a video lesson

1. Click Produce Video As or Press Ctrl +P.
2. Choose a custom production setting.
3. Click next button.  
4. Select WMV-windows Media Video.
5. Camtasia studio best quality and file size(recommended).
6. Then next button, again next button, Next button.
7. Type the Production name for Camtasia studio.
8. Save the video file to the desktop using the browser button.
9. Click on Finish button. (The video will be published)

Cyber-bullying is the use of technology to harass, threaten, embarrass, or target another person. Online threats and mean, aggressive, or rude texts, tweets, posts, or messages all count. So does posting personal information, pictures, or videos designed to hurt or embarrass someone else.

Online bullying can be particularly damaging and upsetting because it's usually hard to trace. It's also hard to control, and the person being victimized has no idea how many people have seen the messages or posts. Online bullying and harassment can be easier to commit than other acts of bulling because the bully doesn't have to confront his or her target in person.

Sometimes, online bullying, like other kinds of bullying, can lead to serious long-lasting problems. The stress of being in a constant state of upset or fear can lead to problems with mood, energy level, sleep, and appetite.
It's not just the person being bullied who gets hurt. The punishment for cyberbullies can be serious.Some types of cyber bullying may violate school codes or even break anti-discrimination or sexual harassment laws. So a bully may face serious legal trouble.


Specific examples of Cyber bullying:

• Posting unwanted pictures or messages to social media outlets.
• Sending harassing text messages
• Creating fake accounts to impersonate someone else
• Accessing private files or folders on personal computers

This might make them feel disinterested in life and may even begin to feel like the only way to escape the pain is through suicide.

1. Do not open emails from sources you do not know and do not download attachments unless you are expecting an attachment from someone.

In other word, digital citizen means being saved, savvy and ethical while using the internet and using technology for making our community better. Giving equal opportunity to access many resources using technology and modeling the proper use of technology.

As a digital citizen, we should understand and do not folly others for the lack of information on technology and not having the specific technical attribute. The average teen spends nine hours a day online (Rideout, 2015)

2. Digital literacy

Technology and its related environment are such that they develop and are improved continuously, it’s because of that reason there is a need of schools and other function education to teach its students in the use of technology

By using technology as a means by which to accumulate information, students will be able to exponentially improve education and also allowing for parts such as distance learning to be enabled.

As a digital citizen, we can seek to promote such advancements within our communities and also encourage the use of technology to the younger generations

Internet is a place where many people around the world connect to buy a set of products and ranges service. While this allows many businesses, both small and large to operate over larger geographical areas. This also opens paths to the transaction of products that might not be legal or against the different morals or principles. For examples: downloading pornography.

As digital citizens, we must abstain and if necessary reports such websites and Trans actors

4. Digital communication

By using the internet many platforms are open to communicating with people all around the world. For examples emails, wechat, messengers. Wherever these mechanisms are also used by various online personal to slander and hate on other personalities.

 As a digital citizen, we must not indulge in acts that could potentially hurt other people. We must also speak out against such a 
heinous act.

5. Digital law

Digital law is a law that governs the online world. It sets the foundation for what is right and what is wrong. It deals with unethical behaviors often displayed in the form of downloading pirated files.

As a digital citizen we must not indulge in any immoral conducts, this includes, downloading pirated files, plagiarism and so on and so forth.

6. Digital etiquette

 
Just as a digital world has progressed so too has a social aspect. Many a time a person’s behavior on and all over the internet is unpleasant, the next problems, however, is that not many people take it upon themselves to correct the person’s behavior or social conduct.

Most if not all social platforms have some way or another to monitor online behaviors within the premises of their site.

As a digital citizen, we then must report any misconduct portrayed by any individual that in any way is discriminatory or could stack to hurt another.

7. Digital rights and responsibility

 



Is having the right and freedom to use all types of digital technology and using technology in an acceptable and appropriate manner. As a user of digital technology, you also have the right to privacy and the freedom of personal expression. But we have to know what to say, when to say, how to say.

As a digital citizen, it is then our responsibilities to abide by the rule to set out to ensure proper conduct when using the internet.

 

8. Digital health and wellbeing

When using the internet and a computer in general one is subjected to hardware that is used. Unfortunately, the excessive use of computer’s hardware could result in a number of problems. One such issue is the carpal tunnel syndrome which is numbness and tingling in the hand and all caused a pinched nerve in a wrist by sitting for long hours on a computer. 

One could develop a syndrome furthermore when using a computer a person is subjected blue light, the light that is projected from screen and as a result of being exposed to too much blue light, a person’s vision and eyesight could be profoundly affected.

As a digital citizen, we must use the digital world in a monitored and effective manner that does not pose any form of harm to us or those around us in any way.

Just as in a real world we are regularly exposed to external threats such as criminals so too are we exposed to such risks in the virtual or online world.
